I searched the web for different methods of free web advertising, and found that there was nothing that would give my home based business any real results.
Free Web Advertising Method 1
The first method I used, which worked good for my website visitor count, but not so great for my offline company was article directories. I wrote 26 articles and had some great counts as far as views went, and was happy with the number of visitors I received, close to 10 per day. Does not sound like much, but if only one of those per week became a job then things would have been great. I did get about one job every 4-6 weeks, so the time I spent writing the articles was worthwhile. If I had something to sell on my site, this would have worked even better.
Free Web Advertising Method 2
The second method I used for getting business from free web advertising was one of the many free online classifieds that are on the internet. These do work well, but I am finding that many other businesses are also starting to use this method. Which means I have to delete my post and add another post every single day just to stay on top of the list. This only takes about 15 minutes, but for one call per week I am not sure if this is effective.

This is where I come in. There are many different kinds of business directories out ther, some are free, and others you pay for. In most cases even paying a small amount is worth it. By submitting your business to a few free business directories you will get calls, not as many as the classifieds, but you will get calls.
